COVID-19 update
Park events, such as our health walks, Countryside & Parks Conservation Group activities, and Neaten & Natter sessions, have been put on hold during the pandemic.
Events and activities organised by others are starting to be booked in. Please check the individual organiser’s website for more details.
Lichfield Historic Parks are open. If visiting, please follow social distancing guidance and put litter in a bin or take it home with you.
In the meantime, you may enjoy our wellbeing activities that you can do in any green open space…
Park Pause
Be in the moment and head out to one of the district’s parks or green open spaces and have a go at a series of wellbeing activities.
From breathing techniques and using all your senses, to spotting colours in nature and getting up close and personal with tree bark, our Park Pause booklet has eight activities to help you take time in nature to benefit your health and wellbeing and reduce stress.
And, for everyone who enjoys Park Pause, we’ve put together more activities in an extra booklet so there are plenty of ways to practice boosting your wellbeing.
