There are lots of ways to get involved with Lichfield Historic Parks. From becoming a Friend, to taking part in conservation days, you can give something back to the landscapes you love.
The Friends of Lichfield Historic Parks meet each month to suggest ideas for how the parks could be improved. The meetings are also an opportunity to find out about upcoming events and conservation projects.
Our Countryside & Parks Conservation Group take part in two conservation days a month (except January). This could include digging a pond at Beacon Park to clearing scrub at Gentleshaw Common.
We also host monthly Neaten and Natter sessions on the first Tuesday of the month for volunteers who want to help us keep Beacon Park neat and tidy.
If you are interested in volunteering for our parks – from taking part in conservation work to helping out at park events – please fill in the volunteer initial enquiry form or contact the parks team by calling 01543 308867 or emailing parks@lichfielddc.gov.uk.
