In Stowe Fields there is a small under 5s enclosed children’s play area which features a climbing frame, a slide and two toddler swings. Stowe Fields also has swings and a rotating ride for older children.
Outdoor all-weather gym
Installed near the children’s play area, Stowe Gym is free for everyone to use. It features cardio, tone and chill out zones – with equipment such as a leg press, a sit ups bench and a chest press.
The gym was developed, thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Rotary Club of Lichfield St Chad – a club of volunteers who work to improve the quality of life in their local and wider communities. The club raised £17,000 to build the gym, through events such as the ever popular Cars in the Park.
Walking and jogging loop
There is an exercise loop around Stowe Pool and Stowe Fields that is roughly one-mile. There are way markers at quarter of a mile intervals to help you keep track of your progress.
