Stowe Fields and Pool offers:
- Large open grassed area
- Great for dog walking and nature walks
- Children’s play area, featuring swings, a zip wire, climbing frames and more
- A separate junior play area for the younger ones
- Dog bins and waste bins
- Benches
- Outdoor gym facility – installed thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Rotary Club of Lichfield an outdoor gym facility is installed in Stowe Field
- A jogging loop of approximately one mile

Angling on Stowe Pool
Stowe Pool provides a relaxing setting for course fishing: roach, perch, carp, pike and tench.
Day tickets are available from the ranger on site. Night fishing is not permitted on Stowe Pool.

No swimming
Swimming is not permitted in Stowe Pool.
This is because swimming in reservoirs such as Stowe Pool unsupervised is dangerous and can lead to loss of life – the reservoir is deep in places, has unexpected currents and is very cold in places even during hot temperatures.
We also recommend dogs do not swim in Stowe Pool or drink water from it.
