Posters and signs in our parks

If you are running a local event in our parks, we have space in our parks notice boards for posters. If you would like to include a poster in our noticeboards, please email parks@lichfielddc.gov.uk

We cannot guarantee we can provide space – this will depend on what initiatives we are promoting, other requests we have received/agreed to. The earlier you get your request in, the higher the chance we can assist.

We recommend A3 posters laminated.

Posters on lampposts/structures

If you are a charity hosting an event in the city and want to put up temporary correx posters to promote your event in Beacon Park (using lampposts or structures), we may consider this on the basis that:

  • You have sought approval from us by emailing parks@lichfielddc.gov.uk
  • The posters are no larger than A3 (or they will require planning permission)
  • They are tied to our lampposts/structures using string or cable ties – if you stick anything to the lampposts you will be responsible for any cleaning damage
  • You agree to remove the posters immediately post event – if you do not, no further requests to put up posters will be accepted
  • You agree that if your posters cause damage to ay park users or structures, you will be responsible for any damage, and we may levy costs to you
  • Please note we do not own The Garden of Remembrance or Minster Pool Walk, and cannot give you permission to use structures in these spaces

Please note our team will remove and dispose of any posters that have not been granted formal consent/left up for more than 24 hours post the conclusion of an event. We are not responsible for any damage or loss

To request permission and find out more, please email parks@lichfielddc.gov.uk
