Minster Pool Walk offers visitors stunning views across Minster Pool towards Lichfield Cathedral.
Lined with trees that are lit up at night, it also features a Remembrance Garden and Speakers’ Corner Lichfield. It’s the perfect place to come for a picnic or to simply sit and watch the world go by.
Inspired by a visit in 1772 to The Serpentine in London’s Hyde Park, the Poet Anna Seward was instrumental in landscaping Minster Pool to give it its curving snake-like shape and in developing New Walk, later renamed Minster Pool Walk.
