Pond dipping at Beacon Park

A trip to the park…

Beacon Park is a particularly valuable local teaching resource, plentiful in opportunities for outdoor learning.

We offer a range of activities for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, led by parks team staff. From bug hunting and fairy and elf stories for Key Stage 1, to natural art and the science of the playground for Key Stage 2, there is plenty to choose from.

Sessions can last for either one or two hours and are for up to 30 children. Education session prices

To book, please email parks@lichfielddc.gov.uk or call the parks team on 01543 308869 and let us know:

  • your school
  • year group of children
  • approximate number of children
  • how many sessions you would like to book
  • whether you would like your session to last one or two hours
  • your preferred date and time options
