Beastly bug parties

Nature art and craft party
Get crafty using natural materials to make a range of fun crafts, from twig snakes and puppets, to bark rubbings and natural pictures.

Age: Aimed at 8+
A ratio of accompanying adult will be required to remain during the party, depending on age of children.
All parties take place outdoors.

If you choose to bring your own food, you can have a picnic or hire the Discovery Hub – Discovery Hub prices. Discovery Hub hire is subject to availability.

Terms and conditions
Adult supervision: A minimum of two adults for children aged 7 and over, and a minimum of three adults for children aged between 6 and 7.
The party will take place both in and out of doors, so children should dress for the weather.
Your party may be cancelled in extreme weather. A refund will be given if your party is cancelled.
The general behaviour of the children is the responsibility of the parents/carers. We will give a quick talk on safety. If a child does not follow the safety rules, he or she will be unable to continue with the activity.
The party does not include party bags. Children can take home any craft items they make. We may be able to offer you a number of items (kites, fishing nets, footballs) at a discounted rate. Please contact us to discuss this.
If you are bringing food to the park, it is your responsibility to make sure children wash their hands thoroughly before eating. Hand washing facilities are available in Beacon Park.
Unless told otherwise, we assume the children attending the party are around the same age. If this is not the case, please tell us when booking, as some of the activities may not be suitable and more supervision may be needed.
All activities carry some element of risk. Lichfield District Council does not accept liability for an injury or damage to party goers or parents/carers.
When booking your party, you will be asked if you agree to these terms and conditions.
Payment
You will need to pay a £10 non-refundable deposit when you book your party. The remaining balance must be paid, in full, at least seven days before the party.
You can pay in cash or by cheque, payable to Lichfield District Council.
