From bug hunting to a fairy or elf theme, we offer lots of fun and interesting parties at beautiful Beacon Park.
Woodland Adventures
- We have a range of fun activities for up to 12 children. This party offers a choice of:
- Den Building – create a den
- Scavenger Hunt – hunt for weird natural objects
- Obstacle Race – design a course then race
- Tracks and Trails – make and follow trails
- Natural Art – make art with natural objects
- Tree ID – use a key to find out species of trees
- Wild Man of the Woods – hide and seek
- Bug Hunt – hunt for minibeasts
- Mini Clay Sculptures* – get creative with clay
- Crazy Golf** – enjoy a round of crazy golf
- Hug a Tree – explore a tree by giving it a hug

A little fairy
Fairy & Elf Woodland Party
This party offers a choice of den building, a fairy and elf scavenger hunt, a fairy and elf obstacle race, story time with a fairy and elf campsite hunt, bug hunting, pixie dust relay race, wild fairies and elves of the wood, natural art, making fairy and elf doors out of clay*, huge a tree and crazy golf**.

Pirate Woodland Party
This party offers a choice of den building, a pirate scavenger hunt, a pirate obstacle race, tracks and trails, digging for treasure, bug hunting, bug races, wild pirate of the island, natural art, making mini clay sculptures*, huge a tree and crazy golf**.

Teddy Bears’ Woodland Picnic Party
This party offers a choice of den building, ted den building, teddy bear picnic patrol, ted and spoon obstacle race, pin the head on the ted, teddy bear scavenger hunt, ted story and search, natural art, mini clay sculptures*, hug a tree and bug hunting.

If you choose to bring your own food, you can have a picnic or hire the Discovery Hub – Discovery Hub prices. Discovery Hub hire is subject to availability.

Terms and conditions
Adult supervision: A minimum of two adults for children aged 7 and over, and a minimum of three adults for children aged between 6 and 7.
The party will take place both in and out of doors, so children should dress for the weather.
Your party may be cancelled in extreme weather. A refund will be given if your party is cancelled.
The general behaviour of the children is the responsibility of the parents/carers. We will give a quick talk on safety. If a child does not follow the safety rules, he or she will be unable to continue with the activity.
The party does not include party bags. Children can take home any craft items they make. We may be able to offer you a number of items (kites, fishing nets, footballs) at a discounted rate. Please contact us to discuss this.
If you are bringing food to the park, it is your responsibility to make sure children wash their hands thoroughly before eating. Hand washing facilities are available in Beacon Park.
Unless told otherwise, we assume the children attending the party are around the same age. If this is not the case, please tell us when booking, as some of the activities may not be suitable and more supervision may be needed.
All activities carry some element of risk. Lichfield District Council does not accept liability for an injury or damage to party goers or parents/carers.
When booking your party, you will be asked if you agree to these terms and conditions.
Payment
You will need to pay a £10 non-refundable deposit when you book your party. The remaining balance must be paid, in full, at least seven days before the party.
You can pay in cash or by cheque, payable to Lichfield District Council.
