Everyone is invited to make something special for mum in time for Mother’s Day.
A drop-in workshop to teach children and adults how to create beautiful handmade flowers out of tissue paper is running in Beacon Park’s Discovery Hub on Saturday 21 March 2020.
The workshop is most suitable for anyone aged 8 and over, although younger children can take part but they may need some extra help.
Councillor Liz Little, Cabinet Member for Recycling & Leisure at Lichfield District Council, said: “This is a great opportunity for children and adults to get creative and make something special for their mothers or grandmothers this Mother’s Day.”
The drop-in paper flowers workshop will start at 11am with the last entry at 2.30pm. It costs 50p for each tissue paper flower. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
