Lichfield District Council is calling for local businesses and organisations to sponsor its twenty-first Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park.
Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park is a free event for the whole family, and the council is urging local businesses to come forward to help raise the money needed to stage the end-of-summer concert.
This year’s Lichfield Proms is on Saturday 7 September, when thousands of people will gather in Beacon Park for a spectacular evening of entertainment.
Set to feature The British Police Symphony Orchestra and the City of Lichfield Concert Band, along with classically trained singers and a fireworks finale, it is the event to end the summer in style.
Sponsoring proms gives companies an unrivalled opportunity to promote their businesses to thousands of local people and visitors, while supporting a much-loved community event.
Sponsors can benefit from their logos appearing on posters, leaflets, the glossy programme, stories in the press, and website listing.
Lichfield Proms sponsors also get VIP seating and parking at the event. Sponsorship packages start at £250.
Richard King, Director of Place & Community for Lichfield District Council, said: “Lichfield Proms is enjoyed by thousands of people each year, and we couldn’t stage it without the generous support of local companies and organisations. Sponsoring Lichfield Proms is an excellent way to give something back to the local community, and we’re hoping plenty of businesses will come forward to sponsor the event.”
Businesses signed up to support this year’s event so far, include: Under Pressure, Beacon Street Garage, Blue Print Designs, Keelys Solicitors, Grosvenor Shutters, C residential and Secret Garden.
