One of last year’s Christmas wreath workshops
Learn how to create beautiful Christmas wreaths at Beacon Park this December.
Beacon Park is hosting two days of Christmas wreath workshops on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December, running each day from 10am to 12noon and 2pm to 4pm.
Taking place in the park’s Discovery Hub, participants will use a variety of locally sourced greenery to make a wreath, including adding festive embellishments, including pine cones, cinnamon sticks and slices of dried orange.
Councillor David Leytham, Cabinet Member for Leisure, said: “A handmade wreath is a special addition to any home at Christmas, so book your place on one of the four festive sessions to learn a new skill.”
Mince pies and hot drinks will be served at the workshops, making this a truly festive event.
