Nearly 20 sponsors have signed up so far to support this year’s Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park. However, more are needed to make Lichfield Proms’ twentieth even more spectacular.
Lichfield District Council is grateful to the sponsors who have already come forward to make sure its annual outdoor concert in Beacon Park can take place.
The council is still keen to hear from businesses who have been involved in the event over the past 20 years who are interested in helping to celebrate in style.
Lyn Hammant, Lichfield Historic Parks Manager, said: “It would be amazing to welcome back previous supporters, to see and experience the fantastic event it has now become, so please do give me a call on 01543 308866.”
2018’s Lichfield Proms is on Saturday 1 September, when thousands of people from across the region will gather in Beacon Park for a stunning evening of entertainment.
The free entry event is set to feature The British Police Symphony Orchestra and the City of Lichfield Concert Band, along with classically trained singers and a fireworks finale.
Sponsoring proms gives companies an unrivalled opportunity to promote their businesses to thousands of local people and visitors, while supporting a much-loved community event.
Sponsors benefit from their logo appearing on posters, leaflets, in the glossy programme, stories in the press, and a listing on Lichfield Proms’ website.
Lichfield Proms commercial sponsors also get VIP seating and parking on the night. Sponsorship packages range from £250 and up.
Councillor Iain Eadie, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure, said: “A huge thank you to all our sponsors so far – without you we couldn’t offer Lichfield Proms each year and keep it free entry.
“We are now seeking more sponsors and hope local and regional companies will come forward and get involved. It’s such a brilliant night and this year’s event is set to be extra special as we celebrate 20 years of Lichfield Proms. So, do get involved and help us end the summer in style.”
2018’s Lichfield Proms sponsors so far include: Keelys Solicitors, Allen Brown Jewellery, Moseleys Solicitors, Strongs Plastic Products Ltd, Vantage Motor Group, Beacon Street Garage, Secret Garden, Lichfield Chamber of Trade and Commerce, Friel, Blue Print Designs, Wilcox Refinishers, Prizm Solutions, Movecorp, and the Staffordshire County Councillors Janet Eagland, David Smith and Natasha Pullen through the Staffordshire Local Community Fund.
