Lichfield District Council is calling for local businesses and organisations to sponsor its twentieth Lichfield Proms Beacon Park.
Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park is a free event for the whole family, and the council is urging local businesses to come forward to help raise the money needed to stage the end-of-summer concert.
This year’s event is on Saturday 1 September, when thousands of locals will gather in Beacon Park for a spectacular evening of entertainment.
Set to feature The British Police Symphony Orchestra and the City of Lichfield Concert Band, along with classically trained singers and a fireworks finale, it is the event to end the summer in style.
Sponsoring proms gives companies an unrivalled opportunity to promote their businesses to thousands of local people and visitors, while supporting a much-loved community event.
Sponsors can benefit from their logos appearing on posters, leaflets, the glossy programme, stories in the press, and a listing on Lichfield Proms’ website.
Lichfield Proms sponsors also get VIP seating and parking at the event. Sponsorship packages range from £250 and up.
Councillor Iain Eadie, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure, said: “Lichfield Proms is such a wonderful evening that’s enjoyed by thousands, and we could not stage it without the generous support of local companies and organisations. This year is set to be extra special as we’re celebrating 20 years of this fantastic event. Sponsoring Lichfield Proms is an excellent way to give something back to the local community, and we’re hoping plenty of businesses will get in touch with us to find out more.”
