We’ll be making beautiful decorations

Three Christmas decoration workshops for adults will take place at Beacon Park on Sunday 19 November 2017.

Handmade Christmas decorations add a personal feel to a festive home and make great presents. Now you can learn how to make three different types of decorations on a two-hour workshop.

Taking place in Beacon Park’s Discovery Hub, the workshops will start at 10am, 12noon and 2pm.

Participants will learn how to make a natural willow frame decoration, an ornate Christmas card and beautiful paper baubles.

Ruth Piddington, Community and Education Officer for Lichfield District Council, said: “We still have spaces available on all three of the workshops so it’s not too late to book your place.

“The sessions offer a relaxed setting to learn some Christmas crafty skills. You don’t need any experience to have a go as we’ll guide you through how to make these simple but effective Christmas decorations.”

The two-hour workshop costs £5. To book your place on one of the Christmas decoration workshops, please call Beacon Park on 01543 308869 or email parks@lichfielddc.gov.uk.
