Children are invited to make something special for mum in time for Mother’s Day.
A workshop to teach youngsters how to create beautiful handmade flowers out of tissue papers is running in Beacon Park’s Discovery Hub on Saturday 25 March 2017.
The workshop is most suitable for anyone aged 8 and over, although younger children can take part but they may need some extra help.
Councillor Andy Smith, Cabinet Member for Leisure & Parks at Lichfield District Council, said: “We hope plenty of children will come along and make something special for their mothers or grandmothers.”
The drop in paper flowers workshop will start at 11am with the last entrance at 2.30pm. It costs 50p for each tissue paper flower. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
