Golf Express at Beacon Park
Perfect if you are a beginner or don’t have much time – golfers can now play an express round of golf at Beacon Park.
Beacon Park has linked up with England Golf, which is trialling new ways to increase participation in golf across the country, to launch Golf Express.
Golfers can now play a 9-hole round on Beacon Park’s mature pitch and putt golf facility by following the yellow flags on the course.
Golf Express is available from Monday to Friday and is a great way for beginners to get into the game or for anyone who is short on time.
Councillor Andy Smith, Cabinet Member for Leisure & Parks, said: “We’re really pleased to join England Golf’s campaign to get more people into the game. Golf Express is a good way to play a quick round or to work on your game if you are new to golf. Not only is it great value, it’s also offers time outdoors and gentle exercise.”
Golfers can play with their own clubs or hire them when paying for their round at Beacon Park’s Ranger Station.
Golf Express costs £4.20 for adults, £3.60 for adult LAP holders, and £2.60 for concessionary LAP holders.
