Christmas Xplorer at Beacon Park

Follow a festive trail at Beacon Park on Saturday 12 December.

Children are invited to take on an Xplorer challenge in the run up to Christmas, following clues round Beacon Park to complete a trail to get a certificate.

Younger children can spot colourful characters, including Father Christmas, an elf and a robin, while older children can search for letters and challenge themselves to see how many Yuletide related words they can make from them.

Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure & Parks, said: “Xplorer challenges are not only fun, they are also a great introduction to map reading and problem solving.”

The trails, which take around 30 minutes to complete, will be available on Saturday 12 December 2015, between 11am and 2pm. They cost 50p each and are available from the Beacon Park’s Ranger Station, which is next to the crazy golf course.
