Easter Holiday Fun 2015 programme

Beacon Park's Easter Bunny

Beacon Park’s Easter Bunny

Lichfield District Council is inviting children, young people and families to take a look at its programme of activities on offer this Easter.

From sports courses and fit camps to pool and roller skating parties, there are plenty of cracking activities on offer at Burntwood Leisure Centre and Friary Grange Leisure Centre this Easter holiday.

Children can also follow an Easter trail round Beacon Park to solve clues and claim a small prize. The trails cost £1 each and will be available from Beacon Park’s Ranger Station between 28 March and 15 April from 9am and 4pm.

Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure & Parks, said: “We’ve got lots of activities on offer this Easter to keep children active and entertained over the holidays. Taking part in a swimming or sports course is a great way to improve skills, meet new friends and keep busy. The Easter trail is also a lovely activity for families to enjoy while visiting beautiful Beacon Park.”

The full Holiday Fun programme is now live on an online calendar at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/holidayfun. This lists activities in date order and gives information, such as times, what the activity involves, and how to book.
