From swimming and trampolining through to making string puppets, Lichfield District Council has a fun programme of holiday activities for children of all ages.
In the lead up to the 2015 February half term, which takes place across Staffordshire from Monday 16 to Friday 20 February, the council is promoting its handy online calendar of its holiday activities, which makes searching for fun things to do over the school break child’s play!
The holiday calendar is available at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/holidayfun. It lists the activities in date order and gives information, such as the times, what the activity involves, and booking information – all in one place.
Councillor Andrew Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure & Parks, said: “We’ve got a great range of activities this February half term, including swimming lessons, a cycling course, trampolining fun and workshops in Beacon Park. Places book up fast, so take a look at www.lichfielddc.gov.uk/holidayfun to see what’s on offer.”
Lichfield District Council’s Holiday Fun programme is running at venues across the district, including Burntwood Leisure Centre, Friary Grange Leisure Centre and Beacon Park.
