A day of Christmas themed activities is taking place in Beacon Park’s Discovery Hub on Saturday 6 December from 12noon to 3pm.
Lichfield District Council is inviting everyone to come to Beacon Park on Saturday 6 December to enjoy an afternoon of festive fun.
Children and their families are invited to make Christmas crafts, including festive bunting and Christmas decorations for a small charge. This can then be followed by a trip to see Santa in his grotto for £2, which includes a gift.
Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure & Parks, said: “Beacon Park is a lovely place to visit at Christmas time, and this event will be a great way to come together and enjoy the activities on offer.”
Beacon Park’s festive crafts and grotto is part of Lichfield Christmas Festival Weekend, which will see lots of Christmas-themed events taking place across the city. To see the full programme of what’s on, go to www.visitlichfield.co.uk/christmasfestival
