Calling all grandparents! Enjoy a round of golf at Beacon Park with a grandchild on Sunday 7 September.

To introduce and encourage families to take up golf, Beacon Park is offering one child to play golf for free, when playing with a grandparent on Sunday 7 September.

Beacon Park’s golf course is a beautiful, mature 18‐hole pitch and putt, par 3 course, with holes ranging from 90 yards to 110 yards.

Councillor Andy Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure & Parks, said: “Golf is such a fantastic sport to play as a family, and we’re hoping this offer will inspire more people to have a go.”

To take part in this offer, simply hire your equipment from the Park’s Ranger Station and enjoy a round of golf.

An 18-hole round of golf would normally cost £3.90 for children. It costs £3.90 for concessions (over 60s) and £7.80 for adults.

You can play with your own golf clubs, or hire them when paying for a round. It costs £1.50 a club, which includes a ball and a deposit of £1.
