The Embroiderers’ Guild is inviting everyone to take part in stitch activities at Beacon Park’s Museum Gardens this August.
Local Embroiderers’ Guild members are running a drop-in workshop at Museum Gardens on Saturday 2 August to celebrate the National Day of Stitch.
Workshop participants will have the opportunity to stitch a sari silk card for free.
Councillor Andrew Smith, Lichfield District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure & Parks, said: “This National Day of Stitch drop-in workshop is a great example of the diverse range of activities and events that can be enjoyed in Beacon Park this summer.”
The workshop is running between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 2 August 2014. People of all ages and abilities, including beginners are welcome to come along.
