On 27 February, four members of the Friends of Lichfield Historic Parks planted 30 saplings in Beacon Park.
The young trees, which include Birch, Cherry and Rowan, have been planted next to the Scout Hut (beyond the play area) and replace trees that have been felled over a number of years.
Our thanks to all the Friends for their hard work and to the Woodland Trust for supplying the saplings.
