Lots of people enjoyed a range of festive activities in Beacon Park on Saturday 7 December 2013.
A steady stream of people, including the Chairman of Lichfield District Council and his Lady, enjoyed all the festive cheer to be had in Beacon Park’s Museum Gardens on Saturday.
From tap dance performances by King Edward VI Leisure Centre’s Dance Academy and a We Love Lichfield Fund raffle, through to Christmas crafts and stalls, there was plenty on offer at this free entry event.
The day also featured a donkey petting area, the chance to visit Santa in his grotto, a festive flower arranging demonstration and more.
Councillor David Leytham, Chairman of Lichfield District Council, said: “It was a delight to see all that was on offer in Beacon Park as part of the festive event. The performance was a credit to the dancers, and the craft activities were enjoyed by many children of all ages. Jan and I were also very impressed with the flower display and the event has certainly put us in the festive mood.”
