There are lots of ways you can volunteer in our parks and green spaces.
Community Garden Volunteers
Help plant, maintain and harvest fruit, vegetables, herbs, trees and plants in the Community Garden area in Beacon Park.
There are no set days or times, so if you are interested, please let us know your preferences/availability.
Neaten & Natter
Help us look after Beacon Park, while meeting new people and making new friends. The two-hour monthly session includes light tasks, such as litter picking and weeding.
The sessions take place from February on the first Tuesday of the month, from 1pm to 3pm.
Health and Wellbeing volunteers
Encourage visitors to enjoy our district’s parks and get fitter, healthier and happier at the same time. Available in many locations across the district.
There are no set days or times, so if you’re interested, please let us know your preferences/availability.
Become a valuable part of our packed events calendar, either helping the planners before the event or by offering hands-on help at events, such as Lichfield Proms in Beacon Park.
Locations, days, dates and times vary.
