The first drive-in movie of the year is the cult British comedy, The Italian Job (1969 version), which will play at Beacon Park on Saturday 12 May.

The film stars Michael Caine who plays a former prisoner who is planning a ‘big job’ to steal gold bars in Italy with the help of a criminal gang, mini cars and traffic chaos.

Simply tune in your car radio to hear the soundtrack and remember to leave plenty of room for movie meals and cinema snacks.

If you are coming on foot, bring your chairs and blankets so you can enjoy the film in comfort.

The Italian Job is rated certificate PG.
