How to get here
Lichfield District is in southern Staffordshire, convenient for Birmingham and the National Exhibition Centre. The M6 Toll also runs down the western side of the district and links the M6 with the M42.
The A38 and A5 meet in Lichfield and provide direct access to the Midlands motorway network: M42, M50, M40, M5/M6, and M1.
By rail or bus
Lichfield City Railway Station on Birmingham Road is a few minutes walk from the city centre. Opposite the bus station, it offers frequent direct services to Birmingham New Street station.
Lichfield, Burntwood and the district’s main villages are served by several bus companies that provide a range of services. We advise looking at route and timetable information before travelling.

How to find Minster Pool and Minster Pool Walk
Minster Pool is next to the Garden of Remembrance and opposite Beacon Park’s Museum Gardens. The two main entrances to Minster Pool Walk are off Dam Street and Bird Street. It can also be accessed from Bird Street car park (by foot).
Lichfield City is well-served by a number of long and short stay car parks all within easy reach of Lichfield Historic Parks. The nearest pay and display car park are on Bird Street, Sandford Street and Shaw Lane. Find city centre car parks (external link)
