Pond dipping at Beacon Park

A trip to the park…

Beacon Park is a particularly valuable local teaching resource, plentiful in opportunities for outdoor learning.

We offer a range of activities for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, led by parks team staff. From bug hunting and fairy and elf stories for Key Stage 1, to natural art and the science of the playground for Key Stage 2, there is plenty to choose from.

See the programme of sessions available for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

Sessions can last for either one or two hours and are for up to 30 children. A one-hour ranger-led session costs £20 and a two-hour ranger led session costs £40.
